Christine C. (Geiger) Deprill, 68, of Allentown, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on October 31, 2023. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Calvin C. and Sonia C. (Evans) Geiger. She was predeceased by her husband John F. Deprill and sister Linda J. Geiger.
Christine was raised on a farm in Schnecksville, PA . She was a member of the choir at Parkland high school where she graduated in 1973. One of her favorite experiences was traveling abroad to Europe for 6 weeks with AIFS to study at European Universities. Christine graduated with honors from LCCC in 1990 with 2 degrees, an AAS in Drafting and Design and an AAS in Mechanical Technology. She raised her children with love creating a lifetime of memories and traditions. Her hobbies included fishing, bird watching, crafting, and watching movies. She also loved to travel with her family to places such as the Pocono mountains, the Outer Banks, NC, Williamsburg, VA and Rehoboth Beach DE. Christine was a devoted lover of the 4 basenji dogs she owned throughout her adult life. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and had the pleasure of knowing her.
Survivors: children- Carrie and her husband Mark Hurt, John Deprill Jr. and his wife Carrie, Calvin Deprill and his wife Kimberly; step-son- Ryan Deprill; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

A calling time will be held on Friday, November 10th 12-1:00PM with a Service at 1:00PM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Inurnment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

George C. Dixon, 74, of Upper Saucon Township passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Paul and Bernice (Mathisen) Dixon. George worked as an English teacher for Quakertown Community School District for 31 years. Prior to this position he received a M.A. in teaching of English from Villanova University. He served as a sergeant in the 11th Aviation Group USAREUR. George was a voracious reader, intellectual, stoic, gentleman, bird watcher, genealogist, a walking buddy, and loved dearly by many. He will be sadly missed by his entire family and friends. Survivors: children Zachary of Baltimore, Anna of Salt Lake City; grandchildren Cecily and George of Baltimore; brother Paul E. Dixon of Bedford, NY; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Maryann (Matsco) Dixon. Services: A calling will be held on Saturday 9:30-10:30AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.

Margaret R. (Heisler) Dziedzic, 99, of Allentown, passed away December 6, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Blahut and then the late Stanley Dziedzic. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Naomi (Schierer) Heisler. She worked for O&H Manufacturing Company for 20 years before her retirement. Margaret was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors: children- Lawrence Baglogach and wife Barbara, Patricia Baran and husband Thomas; step-daughter- Marie Mattos and Lorraine wife of Bill; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter- Rebecca, step-son- Eddie Blahut, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, December 13th 9:30-10AM with a Service to follow at 10AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Donna A. Nero DeLucia, 77, of Whitehall Township peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her biggest fans while her son strummed the banjo softly on Saturday March 26th, 2022. Her light was just about as bright as they come. If you knew her (which you probably did), her love always made an impact. She was devoted, kind, and would always let you know she loved you to the moon and back. Donna and her husband would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Born in Cementon, she was the daughter of the late Fred Nero and surviving mother, Antoinette Nero who just turned 100. She was a graduate of Whitehall Zephyrs 1962 and the Attendance Secretary at Whitehall for 40 years! She was known to hand out sweet treats to all that passed by her attendance window. Donna was also a committed aerobics instructor of 40 years and would always make the people in class “pay for it” on the nights where SHE ate too much! This warrior fought against cancer for a year and a half and during this time, she still showed up and exercised her heart out. She enjoyed going to the beach with family and going on so many adventures around the world with her best friends. Her favorite trip was going to Disney World with the entire family and experiencing the magic together. She will be missed by so many, but we all know she is already sitting at the attendance desk by the gates of heaven and probably instructing aerobics classes at night up there.
Survivors: Her loving husband Joseph, along with her sons: Gino DeLucia and wife Bridget, Dino DeLucia, and Fred DeLucia. Grandchildren: Angelica Grube wife of Noah Grube, Kayla DeLucia wife of Amanda, and James Dean DeLucia. Two Great Grandchildren: Blaire and Landon.

Anthony F. Daniele, Jr., 60, of Allentown, passed away January 3, 2022. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Christina V. (Weiner) and Anthony F. Daniele Sr. Tony graduated from William Allen High School in 1979, where he had played 3 years of football. He then attended Moravian College, Kutztown University and then graduated from Muhlenberg College. Tony was very well-rounded person who was always positive and had a quiet confidence. He had many friends, colleagues and was a mentor to many. He was especially passionate about fitness and body building. Tony was very knowledgeable and served as a body building judge for many years. He also had a love for cats and had rescued a few. Tony worked hard over the years, he had his own businesses and most recently worked for BDS in sales. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: sister- Christina Kress and her husband Stephen of Howell, MI and nephews- Stephen, Matthew and Andrew Kress.

John F. Deprill, 64, of Breinigsville, passed away March 14, 2021. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Mamie Elizabeth “Dolly” (Swoyer) and Charles “Chuck” Deprill. John was a 1974 graduate of Allen High School. He retired from the PA Turnpike and was an honorary member of the Cetronia Ambulance Corp. John was a fan of the Miami Dolphins, wrestling, NASCAR and all types of music, including classic rock. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: wife- Christine Deprill; children- Carrie and husband Mark Hurt, John Deprill Jr. and wife Carrie, Calvin Deprill and wife Kimberly, Ryan Deprill; 12 grandchildren; brother- Charles “Chuck” Deprill; sister- Frances Deprill. He was predeceased by his sisters- Elizabeth “Liz” Talkach and Carol Deprill.
A Calling Time will be held on Friday, March 19th 10-11AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 11AM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Warren R. Deutsch, 67, of Allentown passed away October 22, 2020. He was the loving husband of 43 years to Theresa E. (Gehris) Deutsch. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Anna (Schultz) Morris. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Warren enjoyed spending his time fishing. He will be deeply missed.

Veronica Ward Detsch, 96, of Allentown, passed away August 28, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Dewey Detsch and previously the late John Ward. Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Demchick) Shuhay. Veronica retired from Cedar Brook Nursing Home. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church.
Survivors: daughters- Susan and husband Thomas Costello of Allentown, AnnaMarie and husband Peter Giacapuzzi of Merrimack, NH; grandchildren- Chris (Alex) Giacapuzzi, Kim (Steve) Tiller, Tom Costello, Kelly (Glenn) Van Oss; foster daughter- Weesie Castillo; granddaughter-in-law- Deb Costello; great grandchildren- Becca, Ty, Jacob, Zachary, Ping, Jordan, Hailey, Aubry and Ethan. She was predeceased by her siblings- Mary, Anna, Margaret, Steve, Lizzie, John, Joseph and Helen.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 1st 9:30-10:30AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30AM in St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church 924 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Allentown.
