JoAnn E. (Butler) Korich, 87, of Allentown, passed away November 7, 2024 in Columbia, SC.
She was the loving wife of the late Stephen J. Korich. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Miriam (Peifer) Butler. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church.
JoAnn was a devoted mother and grandmother, and above all else she loved spending time with her family. She loved entertaining family and friends, often bringing many people together for gatherings in her home. JoAnn was artistically gifted in many ways including ceramics, silk flower displays, interior decorating, and notably ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging. Her caring and giving spirit brought the best out of everyone and everything she touched. She had a warm and positive aura, which gave her the special ability to connect with people across cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic levels. She had a passion for helping children, particularly those in need, throughout her life through volunteering and philanthropy. She had an incredible and playful sense of humor, loved to laugh, and always made people around her feel seen and special.
She leaves behind many loved ones, and so many more people who have been touched by her kind spirit.
Survivors: Her 4 children– Robin Stauffer and husband Larry Stauffer of Middletown, CT, Stephen Korich, Jr. and wife Julie McKenna of Lancaster, Dr. Jodi Korich and husband Dr. Kevin Cummings of Dryden, NY, Stacy Carns and husband (LTC-R) Timothy Carns of Columbia, SC; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and her sister, Wanda Fioca of Conyers, GA.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2024, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave Whitehall, PA 18052. A Calling Time will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 AM and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM in the church. Entombment to follow in Assumption of BVM Catholic Cemetery in Northampton.

William Kiss
William P. Kiss, 93, of Whitehall Township, died on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Fellowship Community where he resided. He and his wife, the late Bertha J. Kiss, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on February 13, 2024.
Born October 13, 1930, in Northampton, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late John S. and Johanna T. (Kánczer) Kiss. He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean Conflict. Bill was employed as an electrical and facilities engineer.
Surviving is a daughter Carol Maslanka and her husband Victor of Los Lunas, New Mexico, and a niece and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by infant brother John, sister Johanna Mary (Grabner), and brother Joseph Daniel.
A joint burial ceremony for Bill and Bert will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to Kohut Funeral Home, Inc.

Bertha Kiss
Bertha J. Kiss, 93, of Whitehall Township, died on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Fellowship Community where she resided. She and her husband, William P. Kiss, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on February 13, 2024.
Born December 20, 1930, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Socha) Dombek.
Bertha was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, and retired from a career at the American Lung Association.
Surviving in addition to her husband, William, is a daughter Carol Maslanka and her husband Victor of Los Lunas, New Mexico, and a niece and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Joseph Dombek and sister Stella Szulborski.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6th at 2:00PM in Zentz Community Center at Fellowship Community 3000 Fellowship Drive Whitehall, PA 18052.

Stephen Kuhns
Stephen M. Kuhns, 37, of Bethlehem, passed away August 27, 2023. Born in Allentown he was the son of Kevin Kuhns and Bernadette (Shambo) Wean. He worked for many years doing landscaping throughout the Lehigh Valley. Stephen enjoyed playing with his kids, working out and cheering on the Raiders. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: parents- Bernadette and her husband Greg Wean, Kevin Kuhns; fiancé- Tasha Albright; children- Tyler, Brycen and Audriana; brother- Matthew Kuhns; sister- Christyna Witmer; grandparents- Charlotte and James Shambo; nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 31st 10AM-12PM with a Service at 12PM in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102.

Robert Keim
Robert D. Keim, 62, of Carbondale, passed away July 8, 2023. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Howard M. and Valerie “Rosemary” (Kudla) Keim. He was a 1978 graduate of Dieruff High School. He had worked for many years as a forklift operator for Russell & Stover. Robert was a born again Christian and he enjoyed studying the Bible. He Loved God and Jesus Christ was His Lord and Saviour and he loved The Holy Spirit. He will be missed by all.
He is survived by his sisters- Patricia Aloe of Carbondale and Susan wife of Chuck Drahos of Allentown and many nieces and nephews.
A Calling Time will be held on Wednesday, July 12th 11AM-12PM with a Service at 12PM all in Kohut Funeral Home Inc. 950 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park, Allentown.
Wasyl Kuzmak
Wasyl Kuzmak, 99, of Allentown, passed away April 24, 2023. He was the loving husband of the late Helena (Radio) Kuzmak. Born in Poland, he was the son of the late Anastasia and Ivan Kuzmak. Wasyl retired from the former Phoenix Clothing after 39 years of service.
He is survived by his sons - Michael and Roman “Ray” Kuzmak and granddaughters - Holly and Amanda. He was predeceased by his grandson - Christopher and brothers - Ivan and Michael.

Donald Kohut
Donald C. Kohut, 91, of Allentown, passed away November 13, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late Noreen C. (Hegland) Kohut. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Dmytro and Mary (Skoda) Kohut. Donald served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church. Donald retired as a sales manager for MetLife Insurance Co. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #456 and the Fullerton American Legion. Donald loved fishing and hunting with his family and was dedicated to helping others. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors: daughters- Kimberly Kohut of Allentown and Leanne Hamilton of Allentown, granddaughters- Alisa and Amanda, 4 great grandsons, 1 great great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his son- Larry Kohut and brother- Stephen Kohut.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 18th 9:30-11AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to celebrated at 11AM all in St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church 924 N. Front St. Allentown, PA 18102. Burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

Barbara Kudla
Barbara A. Kudla, 85 left this world on October 10th, 2022, from her home in Virginia Beach and into the Lord's loving arms. Formerly a long-time resident of Allentown PA, she was born in Bethlehem to the late Margaret T. Unger and John A. Heidecker. She is predeceased by her husband Robert C. Kudla.
Cherishing her memories are her children, Robert Kudla, Jr. (Cathlin) of Laguna Niguel CA, Peggy Roethlein (Kevin) from Whitehall PA, Linda Lavender (Greg) from Virginia Beach, VA, Mark Kudla (Coral) from Slatington and Christine Seip (Catasauqua). She had 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Jack Heidecker from Hazelton PA, and Christopher Unger from Doylestown PA, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and enjoyed spending time with her life-long friends. She had numerous jobs over the years, but enjoyed most being Mom, Grammy, and Mimi. She was a jewelry artist and enjoyed making others happy with her creations. She was a woman of faith, loved the beach, Philadelphia Eagles, and most of all her family.
Friends and family are welcome at a celebration of her life which will be held on Saturday, November 5th at Kohut Funeral Home, 950 North Front St., Allentown, PA from 10am-12pm. The burial will be private.
